This is my busy season. Fireworks shows, fun in the sun, and prepping for Burning Man. Rather than writing the thousands of words that I’d like to, I’ll post a dozen pics instead.
Wheee!
- T-bone steak, kale sauteed with bacon, and grilled polenta. This doesn’t suck.
- T-shirts stenciled to give away to strangers and friends at Burning Man.
- Can’t forget the kids!
- Painting the Casita…
- More fasteners!
- Yes, under the hood as well.
- Fuel mines we shot at the Hermiston, Oregon Independence Day fireworks show. A 6 inch diameter x 3 foot long steel pipe welded at one end and filled with 2.5 gallons of gasoline ignited and propelled by a 1/4 pound black powder charge submerged in the gasoline.
- Racks of mortars ready for loading.
- Sorting the shells getting ready for a choreography callout and loading.
- 5 and 6 inch sells ready to drop and wire up for electrical firing.
- Staged for loading.
- We fired the show from the top of a volcanic mesa that’s several hundred feet higher than the surrounding viewing areas.
- Safety third, er, first!
- Firing time!
- The grand finale!
Thank you Steve for the awesome pictures! I enjoy watching you having so much fun and living life to the fullest!
